Dear Canada, This Is Just The Beginning

I’ve been reading a bit on the “The New Abortion Caravan”.  First, a brief review of the original Abortion Caravan.

In 1970, hundreds of women gathered in Vancouver to protest limited access to abortion. They then climbed into vehicles and began to drive across the country in what history has come to call "The Abortion Caravan." Many Canadian historians credit this Caravan with laying the groundwork to the 1988 Supreme Court decision to strike down all abortion laws.

A core team of pro-abortion protestors drove from Vancouver to Ottawa. When they arrived they left a coffin—representing women who died from illegal abortions—at the Prime Minister's house and forced Parliament to shut down for over half an hour. The nation was forced to consider an issue they had previously ignored.

Now, The New Abortion Caravan, is forcing the people of Canada to look at the truth, of what abortion does to human babies.  It’s graphic, it’s emotional, and it has the pro-aborts outraged.

An article from Socialist Worker states:

Unions such as CAW, USW, OPSEU and CUPE were well represented at protests across the country.

It’s not surprising that union thuggery is seemingly as prominent in Canada, as it is here in the United States.  The article cited above is titled “Anti-Choice Caravan Fails”.  But it didn’t fail.  It’s brought the atrocity that is abortion, to the attention of people across Canada.  And this.. is just the beginning.

We interrupt this stupid fairy tale with some facts……..

There is this stupid post popping up all over Facebook . It has the ignorant (late) comedian, George Carlin (who by the way, now knows that atheism is not all it’s cracked up to be) spewing his little diatribe about how Conservatives don’t care for children after they are born.

Now there is enough ignorant ranting in this nine minute segment to sink a ship, but I’m just going to focus on the attack on Conservatives for not being concerned with children, or charitable (you will note, that every solution to the problem he listed as good, was government sponsored, which = cost to taxpayers, which is statistically shown to inhibit personal contribution to charity). At any rate, this is an oft used argument by the radical, okay-with-baby-killing, “pro-choice” crowd. For some reason, they would like us to believe that guaranteeing mothers the legal right to kill their offspring is a benevolent and charitable act that will spare someone else pain and suffering, and they would dearly love ‘everyone else’ (who ever that is), to pay for those abortions. A good parenting choice, you know. Yeah, sure…….every time I run into financial trouble, adverse life events, etc., the first parenting choice that comes to mind is to kill one of my kids…..yep….

But I digress……

Here are a few stats for you liberal, brainless, AND UNCHARITABLE people, whose best solution to poverty is to doggedly promote feticide, and doggedly push for a nanny state, cradle to grave welfare system, because apparently it is YOU all who don’t want to care for babies after they are born. These statistics are from research by, and published in a book written by Arthur C. Brooks (an independent, by the way), a professor at Syracuse University.

And just as a shout out to you poor ignorant atheists who doggedly cry “persecution!!!” but spend most of your time heaping persecution on Christians – and since George Carlin was a self-proclaimed atheist, I thought this paragraph was of particular interest:

“The single biggest predictor of someone's altruism, Willett says, is religion. It increasingly correlates with conservative political affiliations because, as Brooks' book says, "the percentage of self-described Democrats who say they have 'no religion' has more than quadrupled since the early 1970s." America is largely divided between religious givers and secular nongivers, and the former are disproportionately conservative. One demonstration that religion is a strong determinant of charitable behavior is that the least charitable cohort is a relatively small one -- secular conservatives.” (bold, underlined, italics are mine)

So…….once again we find the pro-baby-killers spewing the mindless, unsubstantiated drivel of the radical zealot. Mind numbed, kool-aide drinking folks who get their talking points from the hierarchy driving the abortion industry, i.e. the profiteers, without even realizing it. - people on the wrong side of a cause that uses them as (to co-opt a phrase by a well-known and charitable radio talk show host) ‘mind -numbed robots’. The fact of the matter is religious conservatives shell more of their personal money out to benefit the impoverished than wealthy liberals, or any liberal for that matter. Period. Full stop. End of discussion.

Let me leave you with this excellent quote by Texas State Supreme Court Justice Willett, in case you didn’t bother to read the article:

"The belief that liberals care more about the poor may scratch a partisan or ideological itch, but the facts are hostile witnesses."

I know that you would all like to believe that Christian, conservative, pro-life people don’t care about children who are in poverty……...and George Carlin would probably like some iced - water………….

Pro-Abort Honesty– Yes, it’s all about sex

I took a trip back to the Abortion Gang blog, to see if anything has changed.  It hasn’t.  Although I did find it more about sex than I recalled.  For example, the latest post, by Kaitlyn, includes this:

The organization [Planned Parenthood] has provided so many of my reproductive health needs, and what is reproductive health about, if not sex?

Indeed, it is all about sex, to them anyway.  No thought is given to destroying the human lives created by sex.

So I continued to the next post, written by Christie, who is apparently donating her eggs soon.

First of all, not having sex for the past 8 weeks has sucked, and I still have 3 more weeks to go. Yeah, that’s right. They ask you to remain abstinent the ENTIRE time you’re in the program, especially around the time when you start your fertility hormone shots, and then for a week or so after. It makes sound medical sense, and I wouldn’t want to risk getting pregnant or getting an STD while I’m doing this, but… come on! I broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years a little while ago, and frankly, I’d like to get laid.

So, I’d like to read a little more about Christie.. In the archives I find yet another post written by her (unable to link, just click on her name for her archives, then scroll down to Feb 27), this was disturbing to me.

She talks about her piercings, one in particular, her clitoral hood piercing.  But the piercing itself is not what bothered me.  Her using it as a tool to judge future boyfriends did. 

So, every time I go to the gynecologist I wonder what they’re thinking when they see my horizontal clitoral hood piercing. As doctors, I’m sure they’ve seen it all, and I’m sure a hood piercing is so blase that they almost barely deign to notice it. I do get nervous though, that they’ll be ultra-conservative and automatically assume that I’m a slut or something because of it. [emphasis is mine]

She follows that paragraph with this:

Similarly, every time I get involved with a new sexual partner, I’m concerned that they’ll jump to conclusions about me.

It gets worse.

I’m very glad to have my piercing though, because it’s an easy gauge of whether a new partner might be worth considering making a habit of, or could be boyfriend material. The ones who ask me questions like “what’s the story behind the piercing?” are less likely to attempt non-consensual sex acts than the ones that are like “man, that piercing is so hot” and move immediately to sucking on it (again without asking if I’m down for oral). We all have our own standards that we judge each other by, and this is one that I’ve found to be pretty accurate and consistent.

So it’s ok to be a slut (Christie clearly admitted it), but it’s not ok to ‘assume’ a young woman is a slut by her actions?  Really?

Realizing this will rile up pro-aborts who will accuse me of “slut-shaming”, I’m posting it anyway.  This is what I do, bring out what’s in the minds of pro-aborts.  And clearly, what’s on the mind of a lot of young pro-aborts, is sex.

My Absence

As some of you may have noticed, I’ve not been blogging for a few months.  I have no excuse.  I’ve not been ill, and my family is fine.  Do I feel guilty? YES.  There I said it.  So apologies to my followers whom I’ve certainly disappointed.  

Having said that, it’s important to understand that most bloggers (like myself), don’t do this for wealth (we don’t get paid a dime), and we sure don’t do it for fame.  We blog because we have an opinion, and we’re able to voice our opinions on our blogs.

My opinion is that we need MORE pro-life blogs.  It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, this one certainly isn’t.  Have you thought about starting a blog, but were afraid to move forward on it?  Don’t be!  I challenge you to start your blog today.  And if like me you feel like you need a break, take one! 

The fact is, every pro-lifer out there, has it in their power to spread the pro-life message.  Let’s all try to do our part, shall we?

Planned Parenthood SEX and ABORTION

I just read a post on Ms. blog where an 'older lady' (Shirley Grant) 'tells off a congressman', you can see the video at the link.  First of all, she didn't tell the congressman off.  What she did do was politely voice her daughters opinion; she parroted what her daughter told her about Planned Parenthood and birth control.

My daughter says, “Throw out the word ‘birth control,’ Mom. Planned Parenthood isn’t that.” She says it is for hormone replacement, and that means you use those pills for many, many, many different areas of women’s lives. I find it very offensive that men think they can tell women what to do with their own life. I think the political arena is making a big mistake when they don’t work with Planned Parenthood, instead of against it. They do so many good things.

Of course Planned Parenthood is about birth control.  What would be the point otherwise? Ms. Shirley said Planned Parenthood is about prevention.  I can't argue with that.  They do make an impact in preventing pregnancy, and sexually transmitted infections.  But their main income is in preventing unborn babies, from being born alive.  Their main income is from killing babies in utero.  Their main income is abortion.  Why would anyone support an organization that gets it main income (or any portion of it) from killing babies?

Ms. Shirley's been duped into thinking Planned Parenthood is all about women's health.  They're not!  They are about promoting the sexualization of young people, and then supposedly preventing diseases and pregnancy, both caused from sex, and preventing live babies from being born, who were created from that same sex.  Planned Parenthood is about SEX!!! 

#ProChoice Mentality is Selfish Mentality

Thank God most mother's don't think this way. 

Would you defend women who kill their 2 year olds so they may live the life they choose?  It's really no different.  A baby deserves it's mother's protection at ANY stage of development.

The Car Seat and The Womb

Did you see the New York Post Op-Ed by Susan Heath, "No One Called Me a Slut"?  Nothing like riding the Sandra Fluke wave after Rush Limbaugh referred to her as a slut.  Ms. Heath's article has absolutely nothing to do with birth control coverage.  It's like comparing apples and oranges, but whatever, you want people to read your op-ed, you give it a catchy title.

It’s 1978, five years after Roe v. Wade. I’m 38, I have four sons — the oldest is 17, the youngest is turning 12. I’m at school, getting a B.A., and I’m loving it.

I’m about two and a half months pregnant.

I don’t want this child.

So let's cut to the chase here.  Susan killed her baby, so she could continue her education.  It's really that simple.

Speaking of the abortion procedure itself, Susan says:

It’s really not so bad; in fact it’s not as invasive as going for monthly checkups when you’re pregnant.

Maybe it's just me, but this looks to be incredibly more invasive than a pre-natal examination. Your cervix is forced open, and you have a suction cannula 'gently' forced through the opening,  Then your baby is sucked out, piece by piece.  Then a currette is 'gently' forced through the open cervix, and the remaining 'products of conception' are scraped out.  Not invasive?

Two years later, I’m driving upstate by myself. I look down and think that if I hadn’t had the abortion, there would be a baby seat next to me with a small child in it, resting comfortably, knowing it would always be safe because I was in charge.

Yes, there would have been a little boy or girl, safely tucked in the car seat, much like he or she was safely tucked in your womb.  You would give your life for that baby nestled safely in the car seat, yet you took that baby's life when it was nestled in your womb.

The difference between the baby in the womb, and the baby in the car seat, is that you can see one, and not the other.  It's the same baby, at a different stage of development.  When pro-choice women admit that to themselves and others, abortion will be looked at for what it is.  Killing for convenience.
