The current #Pro-choice chatter on Twitter is regarding Jennie Linn McCormack, who took abortion pills to end her pregnancy… at approximately 18 to 20 weeks gestation. It is against the law in Idaho, where she lives, for a woman to perform her own abortion.
From what I’ve read, the criminal case against her was dismissed, though charges could still be pressed against her.
Because there was no physical evidence – no sign of drugs in the fetus, no medicine package – a judge dismissed the criminal case, but left the door open to new charges if new evidence came to light.
I guess her admission to taking RU-486 isn’t proof enough? In any case, that’s not where I want to go with this post. I want to write about what I see as women endangering themselves, not only by taking abortion pills without being under the direct supervision of a physician, but also by their own risky lifestyles.
Jennie Linn McCormack could have bled to death. At her advanced stage of pregnancy, with a well established placenta, she could have died. I’ve seen no pro-abort mention that. All I’ve seen is the typical feminist lip-syncing, when all they’re doing is advocating she continue the same lifestyle which got her in trouble in the first place!
Pro-aborts don’t care about Jennie Linn McCormack, the person, they care about their agenda! She is a single mother of 3, and had just had an abortion a year and a half earlier. Hello!!! Do we see a pattern here? Yes, a pattern of risky, even stupid behavior, that lead to a well developed baby being killed and left on the back porch. A pattern of risky behavior that has left a woman raising 3 kids alone. A pattern of risky behavior that could have killed the mother of those kids.
But do pro-aborts care? No, it’s all about their desire for orgasms without consequences, and their abortion agenda.
To see what an 18 week fetus looks like, go over to Big Blue Wave. Suzanne has images to scale on that page.
Hey, would you mind disassociating feminists and pro-choicers? I'm a pro-life feminist, and there are tons more of us out there. Please don't disgrace an egalitarian movement by assuming we're all pro-abortion-rights.
