Occupy Seattle Protester Blames Police For The Murder Of Her Unborn Baby

From the Stranger, author Dominic Holden quotes part of an interview with the woman who says Seattle police murdered her unborn baby.

"I was standing in the middle of the crowd when the police started moving in," she says. "I was screaming, 'I am pregnant, I am pregnant. Let me through. I am trying to get out.'" At that point, Fox continues, a Seattle police officer lifted his foot and it hit her in the stomach, and another officer pushed his bicycle into the crowd, again hitting Fox in the stomach. "Right before I turned, both cops lifted their pepper spray and sprayed me. My eyes puffed up and my eyes swelled shut,"

A friend called for an ambulance near the community college campus. (Fox says she has been camping with Occupy Seattle since it first began in Westlake Park. She is homeless and says, "I don't have a place. This is the place I call home.")

As for joining the protests, she says, "I was worried about it, but I didn't know it would be this bad. I didn't know that a cop would murder a baby that's not born yet... I am trying to get lawyers." (emphasis is mine)

"It hurts. It's upsetting. I was ready to have a kid, because my family was going to support me in taking care of the child. Her name was going to be Miracle."

So let me get this straight. A pregnant woman stands in the middle of a crowd of protesters, not on the edge where she would be safe and escape would be likely. The police exercise a lawful order to protesters to leave the area, they refuse, the police use pepper spray. The pregnant woman gets blasted right in the face.

Some time later, she miscarries, but it's the cops fault. She was 'ready to have a kid', yet she was homeless, even though her family was going to support her? Sure. "Her name was going to be Miracle", even though at 2 to 3 months pregnant, there is no way to know if the baby was a boy or a girl. So much of this story doesn't jive.

It's a sad day when any unborn child is lost, but this is no more than a vain attempt at sensationalism. The woman will get her name and picture in media across the country. But the police, civil servants who's job it is to protect us, are the bad guys. The shenanigans of the protesters is perfectly fine. Blocking bridges, entrances to banks, even hindering traffic to the local children's hospital is fine!

Feminists have been shouting for years they want equality. Well welcome to equality ladies!

  1. If she'd wanted to abort the very same baby, it wouldn't be 'murder' or a 'baby' then. Amazing how they change the terms to fit the 'choice' isn't it? Double standard.

  2. Sad that she lost her baby. I read somewhere that she's requesting copies of medical records, to help back up her claim, and she's trying to get an attorney.

  3. MPQ - Yes, indeed it is. It's only an 'unborn baby' if you want it. Otherwise, it's just another fetus up for slaughter.

justsnapd8 - I read that also, and I hope she does get her records. nothing like a little daylight to uncover the truth, no matter what the truth is.

  4. And it's an unborn baby if you can use it as a political tool, which this one obviously is. Otherwise, it's a non sentient lump of protoplasm. Rolling my eyes here. IF the woman pepper sprayed had been teaparty or prolife, they'd all be cheering. Can't expect too much from the party who depends on the votes of dead people and felons,

  5. My guess is, there was no baby at all. I read that her foster mother spoke to her recently, and made no mention of being pregnant. So it seems she is foster child, no doubt bounced from home to home. It's sad when you think about it. Maybe the publicity will get her some help, if it doesn't land her in jail first.

  6. She's a foster child? Well, you know what proaborts are thinking there-she would have been better off aborted. Their answer for everything. They are of course busily defending her right to lie-if this woman were prolife and conservative they'd be busily vilifying/demonizing her. Kind of brings to mind their reprehensible treatment of Karen Santorum after she miscarried-not an ounce of compassion from them, only accusations that she intentionally aborted. They were quite happy to use Karen Santorum's grief as a political bargaining chip then. Maybe its time that all came back to bite them on the ass, yes?

Right to lie is more important than right to life to rabid liberal proaborts. If this story is true my heart goes out to her for her loss, if not it's a great example of how feminists will defend even the stupidest choices of women, as if women were some superior life form and the rest of humanity only a sorry second-in other words, their usual tactics. Then again, these are the folks who will defend a woman's 'right' to smoke and drink while pregnant simply because she's a woman, then shriek sexism and misogyny when called out on it. If all this woman saw was dollar signs, I hope the truth comes out and the press doesn't bury it. If proaborts thought they could profit monetarily from the human beings they have slaughtered in abortion, they'd be all over. I'm surprised they haven't found a way to do so already. So, let's review the feminist approach to everything: never question the choices of women, no matter how heinous, because they are completely superior to everyone else, but feminism is all about 'human' rights and 'equality.' Feminists are strong and independent and should be patted on the back when they do something stupid, but are too weak to actually own it when they do something stupid. Wow, what an empowering ideology, huh? We expect more from our four year olds, and we get it. Feminists? Not so much.

  7. The press is turning on her already. Read this report from The Seattle Times

    http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2016829484_occupybaby23m.html?prmid=4939

Some of the things I've read at various sites:

She refused an opportunity to be driven to the hospital to get her medical records.

She refused to show reporters ultrasounds pics she said were in her tent, of the baby she was supposed to be pregnant with.

Her foster mother said she exaggerates and is a wannabe drama queen.

Her foster sister, if that's the correct term, said she is a compulsive liar and doubts if she was pregnant at all.

But yes, feminists will continue to defend her actions. Don't believe me? Check my latest twitter convo w/ @Auragasmic.

  8. Birds of a feather. Can't tell you how many times I've heard them say it's ok for clinic deathscorts to assault prolifers because the prolifers shouldn't have been there in the first place. Apparently the right to assemble peaceably only applies to libs-and they can't even manage to assemble peaceably. Comedy gold.
